Buddha Balm

I was contacted recently by Misty from Buddha Balm about reviewing their products. I have to be honest, when first approached I wasn’t sure what Buddha Balm was, so I was off to do some research.

Here is some background information to inform you on what exactly is Buddha Balm:

Born out of a moment of enlightenment, Buddha Balm is a premium handcrafted lip balm that contains powerful healing and protective properties that is as good for the soul as it is for the lips. Boasting a mix of unique and enduring flavors – Lychee Pomegranate, Burnt Sugar Fig, Mandarin Orange Ginger and Crushed Mint Pineapple – gracefully glides on lips, providing robust flavor, lasting moisture and unparalleled protection.

Rich in vitamins, nutrients and essential fatty acids. Key ingredients include soybean oil, coconut oil, beeswax, vitamin E, shea butter and chemical-free zinc oxide, a natural ingredient that provides protection from the sun by acting as a physical barrier against harmful rays

Buddha Balm is ALWAYS FREE of the 3 P’s:

  •  Petroleum Free!

  • Preservative Free!

  • Paraben Free

So after my research I was more then pleased with my findings and even more so intrigued with the product. I contacted Misty and agreed to try out their lip balms.

I was sent a total of 4 lip balms in the flavors: Lychee Pomegranate (my favorite-it has a floral/fruit scent to it), Burnt Sugar Fig(smells like cookies or cupcakes), Mandarin Orange Ginger(has a citrus scent to it, definitely a summertime feel to it) and Crushed Mint Pineapple (this is my second favorite, it has a minty tropical scent).

When they arrived they were packaged in the cutest little pouch with a buddah man design on it.

Buddha Balm has been featured in some very popular TV shows and publications such as; MTV The Hills, Today Show, Maxim, FabSugar, and many more

My overall opinion of the product:

I ADORE these lip balms. They do not leave your lips with a thick coat of jelly or when applied they do not feel heavy or thick. The scents are not over powering. I only had to reapply my lip balm after about an hour an a half which is really good. As a mother I am also thrilled that this is a safe product for my children. I have two girls that are always in my purse and makeup, so I have no worries if they get into this lip balm. I give this product 2 thumbs up and would highly recommend it to others.
